I don't know how Power & Glory never got over. Extremely underrated tag team. Great heels, great look, who worked well together. They had a very good finisher too. I thought Slick had finally had his team. Paul Roma was very underrated too.
@vcvortex63563 жыл бұрын
Fans did not believe Paul Roma to be a powerhouse after years of being a jobber. I believe him doing all those jobs before teaming with Hercules was what hurt their image.

You got it.. Its great to finally notice people also giving Power and Glory credit. If you can beat a team like the Rockers..you are a threat to all teams. (Kayfabe)
@tiatrips3 жыл бұрын
Demolition, L.O.D., and the Hart Foundation is why. They weren't doing anything wrong, but those 3 teams while anyone else was around made it hard for anyone else to get in the tag team picture.

I think Roma had a good look but was just above a job guy.

Having seen several of Hercules Hernandez matches in WWE, I have to agree. Hercules was JACKED, but he could move for a big guy and do aerial stuff, which big guys didn't do in the 80s. He even managed to salvage Ultimate Warrior's WrestleMania IV debut, the match was awful, but he managed to make Warrior look like he somewhat knew what he was doing. It's sad his potential was never fully realized.

Well the 4 fab guys didn't need another enforcer..Luger was a tad better on a mic and more marketable then a herk.. but Power and Glory.. very underrated and could Luger do better then herk when herk battled Mr America for WWF gold? Nah..

Ok fantasy tag match.... Luger and STing vs Power and Glory ??? Power and Glory could upset Luger and Sting but Las Vegas wrestling odds say Luger and Sting for sure in a best of 7.

I think Herc was very underated, could work very well. His promos we're fine too. No doubt should've been total package. Him and Roma years later no question should've had a title run. Fact is Hogan liked the Nasty girls who WERE reckless but bent over for Vince.

@@michaelkeha true. There was a time when a fan tried to jump a wrestler in Bill Watts wrestling organization. When police brought him to the back Watts knocked him down & stepped on him. The only thing Watts regretted was he chose not to wear his cowboy boots that night. The cops waited till after he was finished with the fan, then took him to jail.

I agree. Anyone who's seen Hercules next to other wrestlers should know he wasn't 6'3. Rick Rude, Sting, Don Muraco, Curt Hennig those are guys in the 6'3 range. Herc was pretty short as far as wrestlers in the 80s goes so 6'0-6'1 sounds about right.
@tkdguy54944 жыл бұрын
I don’t get it. I never thought Hercules’ physique was all that impressive. His pecs were underdeveloped and the majority of his career he had a big gut. Although I do agree he was pretty good on the mic and in the ring so he should’ve been given an IC title run or something.
