Oh shit and now we straight up have Hanna Barbera Godzilla and what looks like that old King Kong cartoon from the 1960s! Travis has to like these 2 on some level because the art is clearly inspired by the old Rampage games but he could have just gone with the Gorilla and giant Lizard from those games but specifically went with these 2 for the thumbnail, good man! 😃

If WWE had real vision, they would have offered contracts out to all the stars of ECW, WCW, and Smoky Mountain when they bought out WCW and opened regions up again under four groups: The Southwest, The Northwest, The Southeast and the Northeast. They could have used the AWA if they had a right to the name or just NWA if not for Northwest. They could have used the WCW name for Southeast. ECW would have been the flavor for the Northeast. Lastly, the Southwest could have been under the WCCW banner and they could have featured Rey Mysterio, Mark Henry, Undertaker, Booker T, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin and other hometown heroes as well as brought Kevin Von Erich in for appearances at commentary or just to wave to the fans. Each area would have been homed inside a themed wrestling amusement park like Six Flags or Dollywood. I know who I'd want running the Southeast territory if that had been the case: Jim Cornette with Arn and Dusty and others from that region working on committee. The wrestling would have surpassed any other territory even with those big stars I mentioned in Texas. Alas, it took the WWE some time to figure out their development system and many of the stars of the 90's when wrestling was the hottest thing on television were dead and gone. The era and opportunity had literally passed us by and all we got was that horrible invasion angle. Sad.
