I didn't get to speak with him long as he had a massive line behind me but we spoke about 4 horsemen and Stylin' N' Profilin'. Ricky acted 15-20 years younger. He was up and down, moving all a bout. This has the potential to be very BAD! What happens if Ric Flair does die or suffers a horrible injury? No doubt there will be some sort of investigation, people will ask why the upper heads didn't get involved to stop this, and on top of that we have a LONG DEAD wrestling promotion with a sign overhead. Is there ANY way to cut this clean?

Charges were dropped in that domestic violence case on Conrad Thompson about 8 years ago. But I guess it's another case of guilty until proven innocent in Brian's mind. I find it interesting that people like Brian like to to dig on Conrad harder especially if they are in podcasting themselves, especially to the fact that many of Conrad's podcasts have been highly successful.. Conrad himself has mentioned Cornette's podcast in a positive light every time he's mentioned it, which has been several times over the last few years.

Everybody is entitled to feel how they want. I love Brian and Jim of course. And I'm a huge fan. But Brian's hatred for Conrad Thompson is getting in the way of his rational thought process. I don't care when or why he dislikes the guy, the point is the airplane stunt with Flair has been public knowledge for nearly 20 years. Brian being a wrestling historian knows this. So for him to act "brand newly offended" is complete bullshit. We know Jim's pass isn't so rosey either. But we accept that. Point I'm making is, ok you don't like Thompson, fine.... I aint his biggest fan either......But don't take it out on Ric.

It's weird. I stumbled across a video clip from the movie The Gambler. It's John Goodman's "Fuck you" speech to Mark Wahlberg. The short version is that Goodman talks about people who can't walk away. Whether they've hit rock bottom or they're ahead of the game. Some people just gotta push their luck. Even when Ric Flair's legacy has bottomed out, he pulls out a pickax and keeps digging.

It's just going to boil down to what the guys want to do. The ONLY positive I've heard is the match idea is a tag match. If he gets a guy who does the heavy lifting and Flair does a few chops, maybe a figure four...fine, whatever. If Flair tries to do the turnbuckle spot or even the "flying nothing" it'll be cringing hoping he'll survive the move.

Ricky Morton still wrestles at a high rate and looks damn good doing it! Age be damned. And BTW, Brian; you could go a little easier on Ric Flair. Since when is deep-seeded passion a bad thing, age, money aside?! Listening to folks call Flair "embarrassing" makes me cringe more than Flair going out and having one more match. There's no need for that kind of disparagement being shouted aloud, regardless of what one thinks. It's his choice and I certainly won't be shocked when he pulls it off.
