This poor shlub probably just screwed himself royally, busted knee, broken arm, shoulder, elbow, maybe ribs and a concussion, and for what? Stunts like this aren't even believable storywise, expecting their opponent to stay perfectly still laying on a table for two or three minutes while they set up, a decent wrestler can execute 10 effective finishers on the ground in that time without potentially breaking their necks doing them

What stunts are you talking about with Shane? Jumping across the ring to do a drop kick? Elbow dropping from the top of the cage? You do realize that the floors are padded outside the ring in WWE and the table takes most of the fall, right? Not to mention the announce table is larger. Shane has done very little that is questionable; he has balls, but WWE takes every precaution necessary especially regarding the big man's son. This god and Shane McMahon's stunts are nothing alike.
