It's pronounced Tak-e-shi-ta But Excalibur and lots of other people have the bad habit of pronouncing it and all other Japanese words & terms the way they think it sounds when someone natively fluent in Japanese would say it, because they say it so much faster. Hence, "Takeshda".

If I had to guess, I'd say that the AEW program is getting significantly better due to the influence of the Young Fks (who don't forget are the EVP's) being minimized since the fiasco with CM Punk. They completely created a hostile work environment for him and intentionally created conflict to drive him out of the company out of pure jealousy, and I think some of the talent in the industry are starting to realize how big of losers these guys really are and are distancing themselves from them. Again, I could be wrong, but this is my take on what's happening in AEW. Maybe this is just hopium though lol.

And that's not a Gen Z thing, to be fair. But it is a young person thing. Young people have always thought they knew more than the old. And in some cases, they're right. But not on everything. On issues of race, gender and sexual orientation or identity, the younger crowd are usually correct. But we're talking about wrestling. If I'm in that business, I'm listening to the veterans who know how to get over and get it done. But these guys are well into their 30s. They need to grow up. At some point, wisdom is realizing you don't know everything. Shawn Michaels did all the crazy flips and dives, but he also told stories in the ring. He wasn't just a gymnast. I wasn't a fan, but I'll give him that. These guys probably watched HBK do his thing on KZbin, and decided to try it on trampolines, without ever stopping to figure out why that move made sense logically from the perspective of the match. These guys are literal performance artists. They basically do obviously coordinated movies. Speaking of HBK, he should sue those clowns for exposing his finishing move. When he hit the super kick, nobody got up. These guys do it, it's obviously coordinated and their "opponent" gets up immediately so they can do it again. They just exposed that the kick is an absolute work and doesn't knock you out. I'd be furious if I was Michael Hickenbottom.
