@@shaolin1derpalm Fair enough. I agree with you; you can propose on any other day, leave a bride's wedding reception to her. I do have one funny wedding reception speech story though. I was tending bar for a wedding where the couple looked like Barbie and Ken had come to life. They were both tall, tanned, blonde, fit and attractive. Really disgusting how they both hit the genetic Pick 6 Lottery like that. Well, as the reception wore on and after the dinner and the cake and all of the toasts had been made, "Ken" decides to tell everyone where they were going for their honeymoon. It seems that "Barbie" left that up to "Ken", presumably as a test. And boy did "Ken" screw the pooch. Now, this wedding was in the height of summer in the southern Midwest/upper South (not too terribly far from Corny's Castle, tbh). So, I guess that played into "Ken" thinking that spending a couple of weeks, starting the very next morning, in British Columbia would be a splendid idea. "Ken" certainly thought so, as he stood there, half-drunk, beaming with pride as he was telling the entire reception, and some workers, of this. While I am assuming this couple did eventually have sex as husband and wife, I am almost 100% certain it didn't happen that night. I could almost hear "Barbie's" pussy drying up as soon as she found out where they were going. I'm assuming she wanted to go to the Caribbean. I do know that she did not want to go to western Canada. She was visibly pissed. I'm also assuming that was the last choice he got to make on his own for as long as they were married. It's been almost 30 years and I still laugh thinking about it. They have impressive physiques a lot of them, but no one thinks "man, that guy would FUCK somebody up". You can have all the muscles in the world and still look soft. There is just a look of somebody you wouldn't wanna mess with. Briscoes, got that, in spades. Helluva match, best Tag match i've seen in at least a decade.

The match itself was great and could have gone down in almost any era and gotten over. All four guys worked their @$$es off, and the crowd appreciated it. Then the aftermath run-in happened with the Young Clucks, and it sucked the life out of the moment for me immediately. I have been a fan of the Briscoes since I saw them fight Generico and Steen at the Hammerstein. It seems apparent that they are never going to get the national exposure they deserve for many sideways BS reasons. If this was their last go with Ring of Honor and FTR, they should have just let them walk off and not use them to sell a match on Dynamite.

@@davyjones2032 I’m going to be optimistic because this isn’t the AEW of 2 years ago and there are a lot more voices of experience that are talking to Tony. FTR are getting this babyface push for a reason. I think a win back from The Bucks is part of it. Now maybe the Bucks beat them Wednesday in truly shitty heel fashion, giving FTR even more babyface sympathy. Maybe that sets up their win back in a more meaningful, money making way. Hard to tell. I don't know what Jim wants. Khan has spent more money placating every fan and critic with wi fi than all the other companies combined. Yeah honestly. This is the guy that brought back CM Punk (who has been involved in arguably the best angle of the year) gave us the second coming of AmDrag, and just gave us Briscoes/FTR. Khan has done more to save the wrestling industry and bring great matches with great talent to fans in the last six months than anyone else has in the last decade. @@johansvensson833 how is that relevant? Are you saying Briscoes/FTR sucked based solely on the fact it didn't happen at WrestleMania? Is exposure and ticket sales the only metrics that matter in the context of whether or not a match is A) Important for the business, and B) the quality of said match? Are you saying that wrestling fans outside of the WWE bubble don't matter? Is it healthier for the business if only one company exists? Does music that is not Top 40 suck based solely on the fact that it is not Top 40? You sound like the type of person that has no opinions, tastes, or likes and dislikes of their own. Rather, your opinions are made for you based on how many other people like a thing and are willing to pay for it before you allow yourself to like that thing and pay for it too. Thankfully, I don't have that problem.

i think they ran this one early possibly due to other shows/appearances that night. im not sure if either team was at them though. it also could've been a slight courtesy to the fans so they could still make some of those other events. regardless it was still surprising to see it so early. especially since they were the guys on the event shirt.

This Tony Khan purchase of ROH gives me Vince McMahon WCW purchase vibes. Wheeler Yuta defeating Josh Woods for the ROH Pure Championship? Really? Yuta is a terrific talent but having him go over Josh Woods was so WWE typical. What's next? Christian Cage, Brian Cage, Miro, Ricky Starks or Hook defeating Jonathan Gresham for the ROH World Championship? If the legacy and the current state of ROH wil be used this way then ROH would have been purchased by New Japan Pro Wrestling or Impact Wrestling.
