Jade reminds me of a young Lex Luger. She'll never be the female Dean Malenko but she doesn't have to be. With that build and look, she's an instant attraction and screams star. Hopefully she's more interested in pro wrestling than Lex was and is willing to learn, because if she is, she could be someone really special with a couple of years experience under her belt.

I am shocked Jim was so generous with this match and even more shocked he sees potential in both women considering the hard curve Jim grades on. I will say this having two people work together regularly clearly helps them work out the issues with their matches and both of them seem to stay within themselves and not go overboard with the spots. It also seems like certain people are nowhere near the booking of their matches and it shows.

I know that doesn't answer the question, but this kind of thing isn't unheard of, and Red Velvet was trained in professional wrestling by Carlos Omar Cotto Cruz's(Ilegal Chicano's) manager. She may have a similar mindset, considering there is only one degree of separation between the two.

It's still early days for Jade but I for one am delighted that she's proven Jim wrong at least as far as her wrestling goes. Some AEW fans are going well over the top with her progress so far, making her out to be the second Kurt Angle or whatever but she's a damn sight better than Jim foresaw. It's nice to see Velvet getting some credit as well ... I thought she was good as far back as her first or second match on Dynamite. Hopefully this feud is over now and AEW move Jade onto another good worker, rather than putting her in against Big Swole or some shit. Statlander is an obvious choice but she's got a history of injuring folks and she's just as tall as Jade, so would expose her as not being as big as the viewers think.
