There are two matches that standout as the epitome of what pro wrestling should look like that were broadcast on live tv: Steamboat defending against Flair at The Clash in a 2 out of 3 falls match and the Lesnar/Angle Iron Man match on SD. You can throw in Hogan/Andre on The Main Event for completely different reasons but as for as how the truly great do it in the ring, those are the two that stand out in my 45+ years of watching wrestling.

The most underrated rivalry in wrestling history. As kid growing up watching wrestling in the late 90s and early 2000s, watching matches between Lesnar and Angle was an absolute spectacle. It's a damn shame it was short lived. But nearly 20 years later most of their matches are considered golden (especially their Ironman match) and were performed at a velocity in which average wrestling viewers could believe it was real, not scripted.

I said it once and I’ll say it again Shelton Benjamin is the most underutilized wrestler in WWE history. His athleticism, his explosiveness, his size, his leaping ability, and his look had everything you’d need to make a champion. They completely choked the opportunity not pushing him to the sun after he beat HHH those two matches.

To be fair to Brock. He never disliked being a Pro Wrestler. Look at him from this weekend. He obviously loves it. He disliked Travel and People and just wanted to do his job and be left alone. And I was mad at him in 9th grade for leaving; but now... I feel all that is okay. I get it.

corny has a hate boner for brock but i bet brock is actually a really cool person. i mean natalya said before that brock was watching the regular wrestlers matches and giving them advice on what they could improve etc. jim is an old dog who cant be taught new tricks - hes made an opinion based off of a few statements on people 20 years ago and is stone set to never ever change it no matter how nice the person behaves now lmao. from all i ever hear about brock from things that come from backstage, its always nice stuff. hes not a bad person at all and hes not "only there for the money" he simply knows he brings in the viewers, he knows his value and thus he asks proper reward for giving WWE his presence, but he clearly really likes the business. brock is dope.

That missed Shooting Star Press is one of my least favourite moments in pro wrestling. Not only is it scary to watch, but if only Brock would’ve hit it, his Star would’ve shined brighter. Management OVERREACTED and forbade it, when he had been doing down all that time in OVW. When you and I watched it we weren't a bunch of ungrateful pricks nowadays fans think for whatever reason that they should be able to dictate the show and when wrestlers can go pursue other adventures or when they can leave and when they should stay if they make a mistake they just ridicule them for it for weeks sometimes years because their foot slipped off the rope these guys put on live shows every week are stuntman actors entertainers for a bunch of ungrateful greedy low lives who don't appreciate anything just go and watch The Goldberg Lesnar match with Stone Cold as referee and you'll see how ungrateful these fans are

I Remember the Kurt Angle vs Brock Lesnar Rivalry in 2003 that was awesome Their Matches @ Wrestlemania 19 Summerslam 2003 and the Ironman match on Smackdown was amazing they had great chemistry together and wasn't there a Rumor that Johnny Ace wanted brock to do the shooting star press @ Wrestlemania XIX because Johnny Ace saw him do it in OVW.

I actually would like more episodes like that. Episodes about a specific set of matches and not an entire feud. They should do one of Cena and Orton's trilogy from 2009

Can you imagine the modern day wrestlers against either angle or Brock in a real wrestling match??? It would be a slaughter. Then again they would just do their gymnastics routine and run around jumping all over the place to stay away from them.

It wasnt that kurt was too far, it really was Brock 2nd guessing himself. You can see him about to leap, but doesn't commit and getting nervous. Then when he does commit, he jumps but realized he didn't take off properly and wiggle himself mid air to rotate properly but did get to 360.

Looking at Brock's interviews, you can tell that he's not the type to reminisce about the old days. He's probably forgot half this stuff and doesn't care about the half that he does remember.

@@ChadBenjamin I know, he definitely doesn't seem like that kind of guy, but I'd love to hear him talking about some experiences then that helped him as a young man, maybe some funny or interesting unheard stories, if he's got anything nice to say about those times or about Cornette like "Jim Cornette taught a young, glimpsed, big dude that he wasn't really immortal and him threatening to shoot me in the f head made me more humble" whatever, anything like that 😂

To lesnar this has always been strictly buisness he's not the kinda guy who sits and reminisces about his feuds and opponents etc because for him it's a means to make money he's in and out on to the next.
