I saw the Briscoes one (1) time live at Big Time Wrestling in Webster MA. It was Jeff Hardy’s first post-WWE show. They opened against some jabronis that weren’t worth a shit called the SAT, and I fell in love. They lost through some heel shenanigans, and the SAT went on to face the Hardy Boyz. To this day I think that was an idiotic booking decision; the Briscoes vs. the Hardys would have been amazing to see in that little town hall. When I found out Jay had died I was inconsolable for days. I can’t imagine how fans who followed the Briscoes regularly were feeling, let alone his wife and children! Rest in Paradise, Jay Briscoe.

terry funk was awesome my all-time favorite terry funk story was when he debuted as Chainsaw charlie in 1997 and Kevin Dunn said that nobody's going to know who he is and when terry came out of the box the arena went crazy the back and forth between jim cornette and Kevin dunn always makes me laugh terry funk winning the ecw world title at barley legal on april 13th 1997 was such an amazing moment.

Minnesota had a ton in the 80s. Just think: all around one small city area you had Rick rude, curt hennig, both of the road warriors, demolition smash, johnny ace(I know he sucks but he’s animals brother and he did wrestle before he was a stooge for Vince) and Nikita koloff all growing up around the same time and getting into wrestling mostly through Verne Gagne. I’m sure I’m forgetting a couple people too. Canada is an entire country too. If you are specific to stampede in Calgary Alberta they had a ton of greats go through Stu hearts stampede
