That was easily the BEST tennis interview of 2024. It's so rare to have a Hall of Famer transition into a top-notch broadcaster !

Stefanos Tsitsipas is 26 years old & has been in 2 Slam Finals, 6 Slam SFs, 8 Slam QFs & 13 Slam R16s so far. At just Grand Slams, Stef has beaten Federer, Nadal, Thiem 2X, Murray 2X, Sinner 2X, Medvedev, Zverev, Fritz & others. Tsitsi took Djokovic to 5 sets 2X at Slams. If Dimitrov can peak at 33, Tsitsipas can come back & win a Major.

Hopefully he gets married and comeback with a healthy and mature mindset, and ignore the haters. He is definitely one of hard hitters with a lot of potential, who just need practice on several top10 strategies on the court. Hitting the ball back to the centre simply isnt the strategy anymore in modern tennis.

It's questionable to say that Dimitrov peaked at 33, he did got into the top ten again but he was world no.3 in 2017 after winning the ATP finals. The only way Tsitsipas is going to come back and win a slam is if both Sinner and Carlos get injured or of he improves his backhand drive and slice. Otherwise he's never going to beat Carlos or Sinner (or someone else who might pop up in the next 7 years).

@@helloeveryone0123 He needs to practice backhands if he wants to beat the best players.

28:30 We're forgetting Jack Draper here (and possibly Fonseca but that wilk take a few years).
