An incredibly funny man. Jim should be on our TVs at 8pm on Saturday evenings. Proper entertainment.

Loved Jim since his young days, and I think he's got funnier over the years, and the royal family endorses my thoughts.
@alienj272Ай бұрын
I hate people that say he was racist etc, he wasn't racist, he was funny in an era where people loved humour and didn't take life and comedy seriously, it was just jokes. Same kind of jokes that would of been said by any race at that time. Now, society has gone backwards and pushed the bs of "we need to be offended." well, as Ricky said, only coz your offended doesn't mean you're right. I still think Jim is funny and it's a Shame in a sense when you see a comedian hold back on a joke because it might cause offence. Then, it's only not taken as a joke by the very people who are pushing "we should be offended and not by the people who came from an era where the joke was formed who didn't find it offensive. 80,90s to the year 2000 (that's being generous) was the best era's for everything. Shame on society today for what we are today!

I think Jim Davidson Was a breath of fresh air In his early days And he kept the smile on everybody's face Since Jim you deserve a medal for what you've had to put up with without a snipe press And you deserve a medal For looking after our x-forces With those Charities that you raised help the heroes You are a very very good Englishman Who always got a smile on his face And makes people laugh even to this day At 71 years of age The same age as me I've seen you rise To your heights of greatness On the generation game And continue to make people laugh at your one man shows Jim You may be using the 71. There's still Snow on the roof But far in the cellar God bless your Jim You've been A credit Here with the comedians And the TV presenters Of my era I hope you continue to do your woman shows as it brings a lot of laughter in these difficult times cheers Jim brandy's all round

Always found it a bit strange how Jim would mention with pride his Scottish ancestry yet his Father or should i say ''Fathers'' were Scots drunks and not the most pleasant by all accounts and he hardly ever mentions his Irish ancestry even though his Irish mother was an absolute saint as he sometimes mentions.

One of the greats jim, your stuff was well in advance and the one liners only Bob was your equal. With an Irish mother and a Scottish father in those days you were destined to drink but the Irish mother without you knowing, instilled two things into you kindness and survival. Survived is what you have done and the kindness in you only cements the fact that you are not guilty of those horrible crimes that other celebrities carried out and some are still alive in 2024. Do a tour in Ireland.

Back in the early 1970's I was the resident DJ in a pub down the Old Kent Road and the landlord was friends with Jim Davidson who would sometimes give an impromptu performance. JD was funny quick witted and an excellent entertainer as well as a nice easy going guy. I ask myself now when did he change to the arrogant racist bigot that he has become?
