Decent, honest, straight talking bloke who from humble beginnings has done well for himself, I have a lot of respect for this guy.

Interesting watching this now, some 18 years later. Chris has certainly led an interesting life. Hard working, hard playing, creative and now a settled family man doing his great show on Virgin Radio. He's still one of the top DJs out there.

Never really took to this guy and couldn’t see what all the fuss was surrounding him in the 90s . But I think he’s grown up a bit since then. It bound to be hard having so much money and so much fame in such a short amount of time. After watching this interview I have a lot more respect for him. Seems a lot more level headed.

Used to live TFI Friday and his stint on Virgin Radio was momentous, but one could see the hubris building. He was very successful and wielded a lot of power and started to show through with a behaviour that could be construed as bullying and eventually imploded. He owned it and made his way back, a better and kinder person.

Chris Evans is both the best radio presenter and broadcaster in the UK.

No. Graham Norton is better on the Tele. Chris is probably better on the radio.

All of us have a time when we have these problems. Chris was good enough with his ability to be earn his way out of his problems and then survived, worked out what he needed to improve and became where jeni’s now. 99% of people with that talent and / or financial haven’t got t go owe options.

I don’t know when this episode was filmed (I am seeing it December 16, 2024). I did not get grow up in England but my heart has always been there along with the people. I have heard Chris Evan’s, knew he was married to Billie Piper and have read various articles about him. Always liked him; however, watching this interview I am so impressed with him. He ‘got it together’ and he is an amazing man and broadcaster for the UK :) 😊

'Dont forget your toothbrush' was a really funny tv programme... sadly he then started to become over confident and pompous... not a great trait. Massive fail on the rebooted Top Gear., he's best tucked away on radio tbh. Just saying... 😊
