Yes and No. I produce my own stuff however, I'm not dealing with 36 tracks, I'm working 6 at the most and usually more like three. I can hear when it's right but then I have others listen as well to make sure my brain isn't filling in some gaps that I didn't hear. I'm mastering my own music. If I were producing / mastering someone else's stuff, that would be a whole different ballgame. He's sooo right about digital, analog is going out. I'll hold on to my tape output as long as I can though.

Yes, it's all about the groove but the messy groove is sometimes best and it is easily distroyed by pro-tools.
