I remember growing up, on Sundays my dad would turn the volume down on the TV and turn on the radio . Id asked why he does that . He said cause nobody calls a game like Jim Donovan. And those Sundays are the days I'll never forget with my dad. Thanks Jim. Cleveland loves you. Your a true legend !

Jimmy, take it from the segment of Steelers Country that has cross-pollinated Cleveland, we're going to miss you. You made the Browns worth the curiosities that each down year brought. We loved you too, JD. Say hi to Tunch for us.

He was a part of MANY of our childhood memories, a permanently-eched voice in our life journey of memories. Prayers and blessings to his family and friends. My memory is his voice on Sundays as we listened to the game at my grandmother's house in the 80's /90's .

Through good seasons and bad, Jimmy was our voice for the CLE Browns on the radio and TV. It seems almost like this season wasn't meant to be for the Browns with Jimmy passing. His absence is surely felt by his beloved family and those of us who enjoyed him from the public side. RIP! ❤
