I got the Dunlop 01 bottle and honestly, it's nothing more than Isopropyl Alcohol, so I pretty much paid $9.00 for 4 oz. of rubbing alcohol, I'm not too happy. Least it'll be an easy refill when it runs out. Don't think the lemon oil has an expiration date. It has petroleum distillates in it so it's pretty well preserved

Hey Matt, I have a question. When I got to the fret polishing part of the process, I noticed that I was accidentally causing very minor "scratches" (sorta) on the fretboard wood with the sides of the fret polishing cloth when I was trying to polish the frets. Is this not a big deal? I couldn't noticed these "scratches" anymore after I used the conditioner, so that's good. Has this happened to you?

Hmm never had this happen to me.. what are you using to polish the frets?

The Micro Fine Fret Polishing cloth. Perhaps I just gotta be careful when doing it. Cause I wrapped it around my finger but the sides were rubbing against the wood pretty much.

What is the difference between the dunlop 02 deep conditioner and the dunlop lemon oil?

AxilleasLiverpool the deep conditioner is meant to work for the fingerboard cleaner, Because What people found out is that the cleaner actually dried out the fretboard, Thats Why the conditioner is so important after you use the cleaner, the lemon oil is something you should do only 2 Or 3 times a year (depending on What climate you live in), Its to keep Your wood healthy, and to keep the fretboard From cracking. A micro fiver cloth would be best mate admits softer and yeah lemon oil or any fret board conditioner will help it out and hydrate the fretboard mate

+Dani West lemon oil is a conditioned aswell

No. 02 is a conditioner for frequent use (every string change). Lemon oil "feeds" the wood, use twice a year in dry climate. 02 layers the fretboard. You can use Ultraglide instead of 02 but not Lemon Oil. UG and 02 are probably the same shit lol.

Push down to soak applicator.. "DO NOT SQUEEZE" Be sure to read ALL warnings ⚠️ BEFORE USE, and wash up well afterwards. I use gloves myself.
