Wonderful video with excellent performances by all! Just a shame these two guitar giants didn't get to play together (at least, have something recorded) at the show.

In addition to Maestro Hall, I recognized Ben Riley, whom I also mourn and love. Who are the other two musicians?

Joe Pass is the greatest guitar player ever. Jim Hall is not a great soloist.

Disagree. His solo for 'You'd Be So Nice to Come Home To' is an all-time classic. Ditto for his work with Sonny Rollins.

@ericprinzing1600 His playing with Sonny Rollins is embarrassing.

Great musicians, I love Joe Pass to, but Jim Hall for me is more spontaneous and free, and more advanced harmonically. You can't compare.

@@JAZZODUC13 Amateurs can't compare, because they can't see, but critics can.

@@Rickriquinho When a musician speaks, the critic is silent. It's not a question of seeing, but of hearing. There are very few non-musicians capable of really understanding and feeling jazz. Typically, they confuse the quality of a chorus with the speed of execution or the display of technique. Generally speaking, they are incapable of understanding the harmonic treatment of a piece and fall back on the most familiar harmonies. Relax, I'm joking, but your confidence makes me smile. Jazz is not a competition with a ranking.
