Jim Hall's lick from I Hear A Rhapsody, off the 1975 album, Jim Hall Live.
BUT WITH DISTORTION! 🤘Jim Hall played this cool idea in his solo from his 1975 recording, Jim Hall Live, on the song "I Hear A Rhapsody." It sounds very modern and something a hard rock or metal band might play today. This lick is re-imagined in a rock context. Maybe if Andy Summers played it in the 1980's in The Police.
