Awesome layout! I like the photo backdrops and how they blend with and complement the actual layout. Very smooth operating equipment.

Great scale in the models. The proportions are spot on.

I would love to hear Mr. Hoffmans narration of the video tour of the layout. He could chat with us about his ideas and the making of this great layout. A re-edit of the video would be so interesting with his perspectives and hints for us to be better modelers. Leave out the music.

Daaaannnnnnngggggg!!! Gimme gimme gimmme! Love that layout. Utopian really. My suggestions is model whisky bottles and jugs. Can be done. I used to dig privys for old '80's and "turn" glass in Wilmington California. People used to drink 5x as much liquor in gold rush days as today. Also maybe you would add quasi animation with figures wagons etc and stop action, but no "hand of God" uncoupling please. Fantastic. Me, I'm getting around to building original and 1890 Kemtron C-16's for my, around the room and up high, shelf railroad. I live in a small studio in Bangkok Thailand. Thanks for the show, Paul Venne Agent D&RG Ry & Central Pacific Railroad.

I’ve recently been trying to model in this scale, but have struggled to find sufficient track. Do you have any advice?

Would you happen to know per chance if I can get a steam crane like what the first locomotive was pulling and where maybe? Thank you very kindly.

Appears to be a very fine layout but I stopped viewing after 2 1/2 minutes. I found it tedious to try to compete with the sounds of the trains, background music and the people talking. I would think you need to choose one of those things and stick with it. I found it quite annoying. Sorry!

Thanks for the suggestions. I think the video is fine as most people can hear and pickout specific sounds in normal ambient noise. They make hearing aids that filter out noise.
@rogerhuber31333 жыл бұрын
@@rhelmod I don't need a hearing aid. I just assume the photographer or editor would try to eliminate superfluous sounds to make the video more enjoyable. Maybe watch and listen to the many other videos on yt to see what they should be.
