This scene really hit me in the feels. Last year, I put myself on a very restrictive diet. Occasionally, I would give myself a treat meal. One day I decided to make a grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough. It was the first time I had American cheese or sourdough bread in about 6 months. Right after the first bite I almost began to tear up. It was divine. Now, of course, I wasn’t nearly starved and tortured by commies, but I can totally relate to tasting something delicious for the first time in months.
