Jarmusch is always so good to listen to. I'm hoping his next film will be released in '25.

I always enjoy listening to Jarmusch because I very much agree with his analysis of making art. Also because what he says and thinks is very much like what Neil Young believes.

I remember those days when you had to wait to see a film in the cinema. Unfortunately Criterion isn't available here in England. Thanks for the interview, made my day.

To second Jim' story, I used to hang around at Anthology a bit. I will never forget Jonas Mekas pointing to the middle of a table a bunch of us younger people were siting around. He held up a now famous photograph of 'Bald Brittany Spears' smiling through tears, that was literally the front page news of the day. He engaged with a few of us and said (and I might paraphrase) - "Look at Her. Look at this Face. It somehow seems Relaxed. It is Beautiful. This person knows Themselves. She is Free.". His ability to be in the moment and see the Truth when the world was literally stoning her will always stick with me. I thought it was Brittany's biggest form of Performance Art after that, on par with Yoko Ono and or John Lennon at the height of his fame.
