I'll echo some of the other comments - Jim Lea you have given me tremendous musical pleasure over the last nearly 50 years. I listen to a tremendous amount of music of all genres, but I always come back to Slade at least once a week. Slade should have been huge in America. I was a fan from the age of 12 but not enough people over here got turned on to Slade's music. I was lucky to see you in 1976 at the Capital Theater in Passaic NJ - WOW, what a night even if it was just another gig for Slade. Was thrilled to see you finally get a pair of Top 40 hits in the Eighties...and am equally thrilled that you are still writing and releasing new music (which I buy every time). A fan for life! Thanks Jim.

You are sounding great Jim. That vocal is so strong. I hope it means your health is better. We all get older and it is not easy. I've been a Slade fan since 1972. I played "Take me bak ome" about 400 times before I had another record! As someone else said Slade you made my youth great. Saw you live over 20 times mostly in the late 70s difficult period including several times at Blackpool. My oh my you were hot on the We'll Bring the House Down Tour in 1981. Slade were by some margin the best band I ever saw live. You introduced me to so much. I'm playing Stephane Grappelli's Golden Hour in the background here now. All best wishes to you and your family for the future. Would be nice to see all 4 members of Slade do anything again in public and I don't mean touring. So sad re Don and Dave. Guy
