I attended the wake in France for Jim Leon & we made a film of the event.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply. He was my uncle and my mum was there too. I hope that he gave you as many wonderful experiences as he did for us. He was an extraordinary man. I would dearly love to see the film and I would like to know how you knew him

@@dinoflix I'm really a friend of Dennis Leon who, incidentally, I cannot locate in Edgbaston, as his phone isn't functioning. Is Dennis still alive!?? I owned a bookshop in Harborne & specialized in Art etc, so met Jim there. I'm a painter also & own a gallery in Dolcedo Italy called Art of the Thunderbolt. I've met many of the Leons. I own Jim's painting The Strand I purchased in the 80s.
