Jim Micak, CEO of ElectroKinetic Solutions, discusses their innovative dewatering technology aimed at tailings management. He explains that their technology leverages ElectroKinetics to enhance water recovery, increase tailings storage capacity, and reduce both water treatment costs and environmental liabilities. Jim Micak, through this video, presents results from a successful pilot test, and explains the business case development for each client, highlighting significant economic and environmental benefits. The technology, which is pre-commercial, has been validated in field demonstrations and is set to undergo further tests to prove its efficiency in operational tailings storage facilities.
