Jim is the best singer, he has a lot of soul to. You can tell he is a good dancer. The band is also good. I could listen 24-7 to these guys.i wish I had of found them when I was younger.

We were introduced to Jim Quick at Captain Archies through my sister and brother in law. Jim was a true southern gentlemen. The next night we went to Deckerz and he was sing and dancing and we had an amazing time. He spotted us damn yankees in the crowd and yelled out our names. We have never felt so welcome in all our years up north. I have been singing for over 30 years and I found myself quite yet very content listening to Jim with his soulful, jazzy, rhythm and blues style...I am hooked MR. Quick

I never heard of them until, all the beach stations closed except 94.9 . One day I heard That's The Way We Do It Down South. Being an old time beach musician myself, and having played during the time the Embers and Catalina's made their way down to the beach, I knew this was not the style beach music we had heard from the North Carolina bands. This band had a sound of their own, supported by original music ! I became a fan, and have never been disappointed in their performances. The faces change, as do the musicians, in a lot of bands, but Jim Quick has a voice, and his own style music that will be remembered for decades to come .
