This guy is the original Perma bear. I've never heard the guy interviewed and him not say there will be disaster next year. He'll be right one day, but he hasn't been in the last ten odd years that I've been watching him.

@pw3591 Read his book "Street Smarts". Very insightful. He is awful at short term and admits it. However his long term prognostications have been prescient.

The bubble is so crazy now that every sign is triggering so not sure what your point is. People Mindlessly buying every “dip” after a stock went from Pe of 20 to 40 for no good reason are going to lose a lot

Jim is always amusing & very profound. He & Greenspan told us the Dow was overvalued at 3000 (1995). Paying attention cost most folks dearly. One day he's going to be right about market timing.

Great interview. I can’t believe all the criticisms Roger’s gets, he’s a superstar with proven experience. Of course some of his bets don’t pay off, but others do. Even moving to Singapore was a great investing move

Firstly, I just watched Unfit: The Psychology of Donald Trump on Amazon Prime. Excellent documentary. I believe that your commentary was the most accurate and impactful. Be aware you speak for a number of us who view things exactly the same. Thank you! Second, thanks for having the investment legend Jim Rogers on for his perspective. Fantastic interview.

Jim Rogers was a frequent guest on Louis Rukeyser’s Wall Street Week back in the late 1980s. His warnings of impending doom have not changed substantially since those days. In 35 years, he’s been right a few times, but mostly wrong.

There's really not much said in this discussion to be honest. A lot of patting each other on the back and self deprecation and chit chat. In 20 minutes in and the only meaningful thing I've heard is that things are overvalued.. which everyone knew already

Advice for young people as of oct 24 is to sit in cash and watch. The media pretends this is normal but it’s a manic mania. Good companies doing nothing but most companies skyrocketed for no reason and nothing is going to stop them from going up more or crashing, logic and history needs not apply. It’s a great time to day trade but you need experience for that

Nobody can predict the future. Of course, there will be market crash but nobody knows when. At the same time, stay invested unless you are 70 years old.

Wonder why Jim Rogers is suddenly so ubiquitous? He isn't specifically endorsing a particular investment or strategy. I have to give him the benefit of the doubt in that he is trying to send a warning to as many as he can.

2008, I remember watching this guy talk for the first time. We’re now almost 2025 and he’s still saying the exact same things. China literally has the largest population crash in human history going on, I'm not sure why he's sill bullish on them..

Well i am keeping it in the markets when it goes up i sell when it goes down i buy. Everytime i draw money i keep notes with special numbers lol those are my reserves. The markets are too up… haha the denominator(the money supply is also in the stratosphere) if the money units are to the moon. Most certainly the others have to catch up. What i hear is the us valuations are insane but the rest of the world? Not so much. 😂😂 so sell us? Buy the rest of the world?

@@timlund747 you really feel that there is going to be a armed revolt ? For me, the best in a doomsday scenario is having land (both farmland and residential) co owned with friends. If the bear case occurred you know where to go, if not you have a nice inflation protection
