I'd never heard of this guy until I ran across a blog about Christian Yacht Rock being a real "thing." The writer said something to the effect of: "Schmidt might look like an extra from Joanie Loves Chachi, but anyone who's got the guys from Mr. Mister playing on his album is ok with me." Indeed!
