I'm an ol' skool fan. Just reliving those old Starlin comics...Warlock was the apex....the depiction of his doppelganger with the white Afro was just so mindblowin' for a young urban kid from Ann Arbor,Michigan. Those were the days. His renditions of the cosmic futurescape was...just Epic! (get it?....that was his comic line). Starlin and Steranko were my top favorites. Thanks for the interview....to see my idol in all his swagger is monumental!!

Same! I loved the afro and purple skin as Warlocks more powerful form!

Thanks for the great interview Alex and Jim! I'm happy Jim went into more details about series that I really enjoyed like the Weird as well as his friendship with Berni. I had a feeling from reading The Cult, that the two of them had a lot of fun doing it. Looking forward to his new Dreadstar stuff!

Starlin’s art and stories are great, but his dialogue is kind of stifled and off. He did do some GREAT Batman stories , though! His KG Beast story, in particular. That story should have STAYED, and the Beast should NOT have been seen again! Thanos is a GREAT character, but Starlin writes him as too much of a Mary Sue! It feels too fan fictiony.
