This album does not exist. It is what a Jim Steinman album in the 1980ies could have sounded like. I have created these tracks for my personal pleasure and hope you can enjoy them as well.
This track features the following titles:
Vaults Of Heaven (Rory Dodd, 1984)
Making Love Out Of Nothing At All (Rory Dodd, 1982)
Rock'n'Roll Dreams Come Through (Rory Dodd, 1981)
About this project: After the success of "Bat Out Of Hell" in 1977 by Meat Loaf and composer Jim Steinman, there was trouble about a follow-up. Both were in dispute. Meat's voice and health were in terrible condition. So in 1981 Steinman published an album on his own, "Bad For Good", featuring outstanding songs, but not the voice Meat Loaf. In the same year, having to fullfill record company deals, Meat Loaf published "Dead Ringer For Love", featuring rather unpolished songs. Both albums are enchanting, but they feel incomplete. This remix album merges and re-arranges compatible songs by Jim Steinman, Meat Loaf and related artists to create something new. I like the idea of this being a Jim Steinman record, as Steinman's credit was sometimes rather known by fans than by the broad public.
