#ASMR
I’m honestly a little surprised it’s taken me this long to make a Fallout ASMR roleplay, but whatayagonnado? I played Fallout all the way back in 1998 (or 99, not sure), and I loved it for its sense of humour, self-awareness, and tabletop roots. I kinda… miss that style. Don’t get me wrong, the new Fallouts are good and all… Fallout 3 was top notch, right? But… I guess I miss Brian Fargo from the franchise, and don’t want to play Wasteland. It my problem, nobody else’s. I started playing the enhanced edition of Baldur’s Gate recently, and it took me back to the golden age of video games, but, sheesh, THAC0, right? I forgot it was second edition rules. Oh, but you remember you’d get so much stuff in the box of these old games - you remember? Like cloth maps and big books. And there’d be, like, copy protection questions in the game that you had to use the manual to answer. That was fun. Man, I miss the Ultima franchise. Seven was the best. Wait, shit, what was I talking about?
Okay, so, here’s a ghoul roleplay where you play a friendly game of poker to win a chip that you may or may not be able to use to enter the Strip in New Vegas. There are some (quite shrill) bottlecap sounds, as well as card shuffling, dealing, playing, and a very gravelly soft-spoken ghoul called Deuces to get to know. Enjoy!
Oh, and the tune at the beginning is another one I wrote to try to evoke that Fallout 50s musical feeling - if you like it, you can buy the full version on my bandcamp!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
Disclaimer: This video is intended for relaxation. Any views, opinions, or advice expressed is purely for the purpose of entertainment, and to induce tingles through ASMR. These videos are not a substitute for traditional medicine, therapy, or any other professional medium, and should not be treated as such! Take all the advice with a pinch of salt, and certainly don’t take it to heart. That being said, please enjoy them, benefit from them, and hopefully get those warm, tingly feelings. Oh, and it’s not for kids.
