I remember this song when I was 22yrs now I'm 56 when I and my brothers we use to enjoy this kind of music at home. They are all gone now 5 if them and my mother. May their souls rest in peace. I will forever miss them. The good memories they left me with are always making me smile and create good memories for my kids to cherish when I'm no more.

My Mam passed away-sadly,and a little unexpectedly in hospital last July- i always remember this song stopped her in her tracks to listen 'on a rant' lol-when i played it in the late 90's then it was Bruce in concert in LA -this is a beautiful version -making the mind drift and wonder where a gentle and pleasant soul who played down her illness and carried on so upbeat in life is now-apart from rested in peace i dedicate this song to her memory-Ar Dheis de go raibh a anam

The End of the Innocence" is the lead single and title track from Don Henley's third solo studio album of the same name, released in 1989. Henley co-wrote and co-produced the song with Bruce Hornsby, who also performed piano; both artists perform the song live in their respective concerts..end of story...

Words cannot express how much this mans music fills me with joy and emotion. In my opinion and whilst I love Elton and Billy of those alive today he is respectfully the best constantly changing and evolving. From the first time I saw him in London Hammersmith Oden 1988 given a ticket by a friend.
