Jimi was a genius. He played such amazing rhythm guitar mixed with frills and solos and then his solos are mixed with double stops and partial chords; it is hard to know where one stops and the other starts! @@Mr.Tabs.Guitar.Lessons hey, man this is just great and I'm very thankful, but I found some mistakes with bends in 3rd solo: at 2:00 it should be 1,5 step bend , over c# and in the next bar over A first bend is 1,5 step but second should 1 step only (or both 1 step, I can't tell). I may be mistaken but have listen to it many times and compared to the original as many times. Hendrix couldn't read music, but he qq`could read tabs. Like so many of his peers, he sadly passed before his time. He, Prince, and Tom Petty too. So sad. This is the school in which we learn, time is the fire in which we burn. Oy. ❤️🔥
@erwinerwin1245 Жыл бұрын
@@ronhubbard8640 I don't think Hendricks relied on tabs as he just made up his own run and licks and was one of those guys that had perfect pitch. Perfect pitch as if you hit say any note on a guitar or piano he cold tell you that is a F# for example.
@cerrito7806 Жыл бұрын
@@erwinerwin1245 he actually did not have perfect pitch - he had a very hard time tuning his guitar; it's documented pretty well. For those wandering what the tuning is its 1/2 down/e flat standard if you use a capo on the first fret you just tune it to standard with the capo on and then take it off and you'll have youself 1/2 down/e flat standard tuning.
@johntiger52 ай бұрын
Or just tune it to D#,G#,C#,F#, A#,D#, if you have a Sharkey tuner if it doesn't recognize flats. No capo needed. It will be a little out of tune with the removal of the capo. Perfect tuning with the tuner. Or use your ear.
