I can tell the difference of BB and Jimi their own sound as different as day and night, they are truly the foundation for so much Blues to come, AMAZING,!!! How does such greatness just come to be? Muddy Waters was the greatest founding Father of singing The Blues and recording it, great recording here , thank you, , ,

I've been listening to this recording for ten years and I can't believe BB King is on here. Not only is BB's unmistakable Lucile not there but I can't even hear a second guitar.

i have a movie called "Hendrix," & his manager critized Jimi 4 playing with BB King. I didn't understand why it was such a big deal. Jimi was ahead of everyone with his talent wanted 2 explore all avenues of music with various people. He became famous 1st in England and famous 2nd in America. I've had this movie 4 a long time. When I think back 2 what people were listening 2 b/4 Jimi I cringe & think how boring. I only wish I could have been at Woodstock 2 see him in person. Wow 2 this music!

Jimi's a better guitarist. But don't fall for the illusion that he played with the strings right handed aswell, he strung them to left handed, which was then discovered that the guitar being strung the opposite way round held tuning better, also he often used banjo strings on his high e, b and g strings which is often why he could get those insanely high bends. Top guy, that Hendrix.

I am pretty sure this is the night that Martin Luther King was martyred. They all passed the hat and played into the wee hours..... How someone can post that this is NOT Jimi is beyond me, all y'all! Uh-huh. Right. sigh. Fantastic stufff ! Thank you for putting it up. Blessings

Tommy Hargrove jimi played behind bb king for a very short time so of course they played together bb says it himself this was when jimmy was still in the chitlin circuit pre hendrix experience and pre hendrix before he showed up at the village

Whoa there! They're both amazing guitarists. bb always kills it as well as Jimi. Jimi played with a right handed guitar backwards for christs sake and came up with some crazy shit. To put it in perspective, they're both like demi-gods sent here for our enjoyment. neither ones better than the other and they both have said that themselves (though accomplished musicians are usually pretty modest).

Well I just saw BB King interviewed with Buddy Guy (quite recent) and BB quite clearly states that he only met Jimi one time backstage at a Little Richard gig and then he never got to meet him again after that - so maybe not. BB said he was sorry he never got to meet Jimi again - and Jimi todl him at that time that he had been listening to BBs music . . .
