Hey Brett.Great lesson my man .I wanted to tell you about my new guitar ,the Am Pro II Tele Deluxe pictured in my profile circle, Your video many years ago with Tim Pierce (maybe 8 or so yrs) got me back into guitar and I haven't looked back.Totally took my life in an upward trajectory and its still going. Thanks for doing what you do you never know what an impact you can have.I was in such a dark place then and didn't even have an electric.I just moved to a new city 😳 with a Tshirt and pair of jeans to my name. Now I have a whole studio with 2 dream guitars and 3 work horses. Thanks Brett and Tim,There is literally a straight line from that video to here.

Tim, I'm the same but I figured the first year of membership will pay for the Hendrix course and as a bonus you will get access to any courses that you don't already have (only one course for me but still a bonus) and whatever other stuff Brett throws members. He's then got a year to convince us to renew, but our lower price offer is locked in for life. I went for it.

@BrettPapa Is it possible that my fingers are too long, making it difficult to play the Hendrix barre chord? I have no problem reaching even the A string with my thumb and can shift my fingers in the shape where my index finger is 3-4 frets behind my thumb or 1-2 frets in front of my thumb. I can play hammer ons on the high E string with my pinky much easier in the traditional barre chord shape than I can with the Hendrix shape, though. I have problems flattening my index on the pad (even if I slant it) using the Hendrix shape. I wouldn't even worry about it since I can do it in the regular barre chord shape, but a moving bass line would probably be easier using the thumb. (I asked on another video from a couple days ago, but thought I might be more likely to get an answer on this newer video).

Killer Tone. Glassy. articulate. Stringy. Just enough breakup. Light Touch of fuzzy sizzle. This would cut through the mix every time. Papa you are basically chasing a Bm A and G chord in this lesson right ? Emphasizing the major or minor of the chord with various hammer ons from the chords ?
