This is a great discussion. Kudos to the Spice FM team. This is professional journalism at it's best. I'm yet to digest a lot of what is being discussed. It is quite heavy. My take on this subject of debt is that parliament is culpable for the debt mess. That's why they were elected. How did all this happen when they were receiving public salaries and allowances

Jimmy Wanjigi. Do you love Kenya. You wanted to be the president of Kenya. Right. Don't you think that you do not have to be the president to serve the people of Kenya? With all this information and knowledge, why is it that you have not taken part in assisting even when you are not in government. How does it benefit you when people suffer because of some people who are your friends yet you have not talked. Why don't you go around the country educating people all this information. Then ask for the president position later? Did you know that majority of voters do not why they vote for their representatives? Cannot blame them much though. But I blame those who talk, give important information during compigning period. There is the right time for everything.

And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." Domestic borrowing courtesy of Jubilee govt is the reason banks have shunned from lending to SMEs. Kibaki's administration refrained from borrowing locally and that prompted banks to lend to small businesses especially traders thats why the economic growth during his time was remarkable. Right now it's hard for the disadvantaged groups to obtain loans from banks coz they're perceived to be more risky than the govt securities.

Uhuru´s botched government cannot and will not guarantee stability and rationality in Kenya. His manner of improvising every morning that he wakes up leaves the country political scarring, loss of credibility of the electoral system and atmosphere of feuding, recrimination and not talking of corruption. The contorted manoeuvring of political parties will lead to the worst outcome seen in the history of Kenyan politics Urgent matters require government attention. The economic and social conditions of the country as it exits the pandemic necessitate a steady hand. The question is; can these challenges be met by Raila and his Azimio? The answer is NO; since its the very same Raila and his ODM party that gave such a dismal performance providing essential support to the Uhuru´s government. First, the pandemic retreat may be in sight, but careful management is still needed. Phasing out of the emergency measures has to be planned and implemented, both in the economic and health sector. Ruto´s government must commit, to overhaul the public budget, reduce unsustainable debts, reduce taxes, eliminate waste and increase productive investment. All this must coexist with a credible public debt reduction plan. Third, trial procedures must be overhauled to increase efficiency and speed. This is a key reform in a country that has by far the longest trial duration in the World. The parliament has authorised the government to act by decree, and Uhuru has failed to safeguard the Constitution and fell short of leadership and integrity. New regulations must now be introduced linking retirement to life expectancy, with penalties for early retirement to ensure financial sustainability.
