Jimin got credits for the whole album as a song writer , producer , composer and he got credits for guitar for 2 of his song in this album you need to see his documentary of face album he did that from scratch it's an amazing work even his documentary named one of the best documentaries in 2023 And jimin voice is so unique he's the one for me in kpop

Jimin “Closer Than This” MV, which he wrote & composed as well, always thinking of army, made a point of releasing just 9 days after entering the military, meant to comfort & support while he as well as all members of BTS are all temporarily away in the military! ❤‍🔥🙏🐥🫡😍

ALONE! Best B-side EVER. Love this song so much, I listen to it over and over. It’s heart-wrenching and so beautifully dark. It really evokes the emotions of what I felt during the pandemic, trapped in a small hotel room, walking around in circles for hours for days

❣Jimin’s FACE album, it’s everything & more then I could hope for, Jimin’s amazing artistry, his so beyond spectacular,, so mesmerizing, phenomenal performance! The songs, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, which he had a hand in, offering suggestions, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production, even the set design of the MV’s, & the design & concept of the album. Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Jimin’s “FACE” released last yr on March 24, along with his main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Jimin’s other songs “Face-Off”, “Alone”, as well as hidden track “Letter” (It’s Jimin playing guitar), & even the all english version of “Like Crazy”, which I almost prefer, are all equally amazing! Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, I was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs! Jimin has been involved in every facet of creating this album! Hands on all the way, perfectionist that he is, including writing lyrics, composing, as well as being heavily involved in production! Jimin’s true, real, inner self will be finally seen in all its raw, authentic, amazing, heartfelt, passionate, emotional, sincere glory! This is aside from Jimin’s full range, hardly ever being shown, aside from high notes, but being finally able to show his full registry, mid range as well as lower registry as well! I’ve always been so frustrated not being able to see as well as hear Jimin’s full capacity of talent. So often not being fully taken advantage of, but that comes with being part of a group, that has every single member having so much talent that it’s been so limiting for Jimin, especially him being so selfless, making a point of having others shine before himself. Jimin worked with another 3 in-house producers and basically they all lived together to make this awesome album.. he even recorded everything for Interlude: Dive.. Jimin definitely made a super coherent piece of work. Hopefully you watch his documentary, you'll understand then why he is considered a musical genius, specially with the melodies he compose effortlessly. The king of k-pop for a reason 👑💛 PS: when he is talking about ride and having a good night he is talking about his relationship of escapism with alcohol during the pandemic, all FACE is about loneliness and frustration and stuff he went through in chronological order during the pandemic

I truly think Face is a masterpiece. The more I learn about it, the connection between the tracks, the artistry of it... it's such an original album. It's the album that impressed me the most between the members... I'm very much looking forward to his second one

❣There is another song that Jimin “Closer Than This” that has an MV that Jimin wrote lyrics & composed for army that was meant to comfort army that he released 9 days after joining the military. Jimin’s song “Letter” he write to let army know how grateful he was, how much their support meant to him during the pandemic, when he wasn’t able to see them in person, physically while doing concerts.The lyrics Jimin wrote, just for army, his fans, makes the song “Letter” (‘dear army’), that much more beautiful, so heartwarmingly sincere, tender, & emotional, equally as Jimin’s amazingly stunning, so heavenly voice. Originally this song, which Jimin also composed, & even played guitar on, was called “Letter”, before Jimin posted a live clip during Festa “dear army’ , where someone else is accompanying him on guitar instead. “Letter” originally was a ‘hidden’ track that could only be found on Jimin’s physically actual album ‘FACE’, which track starts at 6:13 which was when BTS debuted for first time ( 6/13) in which Jimin, who not just wrote lyrics for but composed, is playing the guitar himself in the album. Jimin’s song, “Letter”, that he poured his heart out to army while writing the so sincere, heartfelt, sincere lyrics, is such an amazing, ever so beautiful, so heartfelt song dedicated to Army, who he says really helped him, especially during the pandemic, as he mentioned, when he felt in despair, emotional, distraught, reflecting on himself, going through a depression, but throughout he really felt the love support, faith & belief in him, that army gave him, which now that he’s found himself and is uplifted, wants to do the same for army. So beautiful how BTS hidden tracks, like “Sea” and now Jimin’s “Letter”, are mainly written just for army. 🙏❤‍🔥🙌😇🥰 ❣Side Note: Jimin’s whole album FACE, each song is well worth listening to. There are eng lyrics vids, as well as FMV (fan-made vids with eng subs)for songs on album, “Face-Off”, (absolute fire), also “Alone”, (so deep, hauntingly emotional), which follows after “Like Crazy”, there is also eng lyric vid for “Letter”, the one Jimin wrote specifically for army, where Jimin is playing guitar himself, & does have more instrumentation added to it, even a harmonica at one point, that I have a feeling is in reference to his BT21 character doll Chimmy, who indeed does play it! Also amazingly starts at 6:13 minutes on the album which is the date BTS actually debuted, on (6/13), june 13, 2013. 🙏👍❤‍🔥😍🐥😇🥰

The 'muffle thing' in the interlude 'Dive' might be him crying (sobbing)... And at the end it's probably alcohol. The whole album was about his feelings during the pandemic and he was drinking a lot to cope with everything (in the music vide Like Crazy he's also getting drunk in the disco). So it was him remenissing him being on stage performing and crying because he couldn't (because of the pandemic) and drinking to cope with his feelings.

Like Crazy English version, the lyrics are somewhat different from those in Korean... By the way, the whole song is about him drinking his emotions away (he was feeling depressed because he couldn't perform during the pandemic)...
