The tattoo on his side says Nevermind.. It's the title of an early song by Suga. They covered it up for the second half of the MV. The words written on Jimin's body are from a German poem called "Ich lebe mein Leben in wachsenden Ringen” by Rainer Maria Rilke. This translates to “I live my life in ever-widening circles." The poem says, “I live my life in ever-widening circles that stretch themselves out over all the things. I won’t, perhaps, complete the last one, but I intend on trying. ❣Jimin “Set Me Free Pt.2’, it’s everything & more then I could hope for, Jimin’s amazing artistry, his so beyond spectacular,, so mesmerizing, phenomenal performance! The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production! Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! (As opposed to certain other members. No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this made me that much more excited, for the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” released on March 24, along with his main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Jimin’s other songs “Face-Off”, “Alone”, as well as hidden track “Letter” are all equally amazing! Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, I was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs! Jimin has been involved in every facet of creating this album! Hands on all the way, perfectionist that he is, including writing lyrics, composing, as well as being heavily involved in production! Jimin’s true, real, inner self will be finally seen in all its raw, authentic, amazing, heartfelt, passionate, emotional, sincere glory! This is aside from Jimin’s full range, hardly ever being shown, aside from high notes, but being finally able to show his full registry, mid range as well as lower registry as well! I’ve always been so frustrated not being able to see as well as hear Jimin’s full capacity of talent. So often not being fully taken advantage of, but that comes with being part of a group, that has every single member having so much talent that it’s been so limiting for Jimin, especially him being so selfless, making a point of having others shine before himself. Jimin is shy by himself but totally different with the group. Once you get into the group performances you will discover another side to him that will be hard to miss. He’s known as stage commander and the flirt of the group. There’s a bunch of video compilations of Jimin making men questioning their sexuality 😂. I was shocked at how different he is as a soloist. He slayed his solo songs of course but it’s a different jimin than the one in the group! I love all facets of this man. His duality is crazy. He is the most humble, self sacrificing and sweet guy off stage but is devilishly captivating when he performs on stage. So many things to say but I’d rather you just experience them all blindly so we can watch 😅❤. You gotta check out Serendipity. RM wrote it for Jimin. R&B slow burn angelic mesmerizing performance!

I love that you were so blown away by this. Set Me Free Pt2 is hands down my favorite Jimin song, and he’s got some other REALLY great songs! As a former contemporary dancer, the choreography speaks to my soul and is just perfect. If you’re interested, you should watch the dance practice video for this song, honestly it’s almost more powerful than the mv, at least just from a dance perspective. 💜

❣Jimin, growing up, since quite young age, even pre mid school, was always into hip hop & r&b music. Aside from Rain, Taeyang, & BoA, Korean idols, known not just for amazing vocals, but their dance ability, Jimin was also heavily influenced, with other role models, such as Chris Brown, & Usher. So it goes to follow he’d also appreciate other equally well known artists who also were amazing dancers & performers aside from vocal ability. It also goes without saying that Jimin, was indeed heavily influenced by MJ. He even taught Jin to moon dance for Dynamite MV, also Jimin was the one that suggested other MJ moves also for BTS song “Dynamite”. Jimin already at early age of 10, started studying hip hop at the renowned Just Dance Academy, in Busan, city where Jimin’s from, which teaches all the many different styles of hip hop. There is even a post made that shows a performance where young again 11 Jimin in 2007, not only performed already, on right front side of stage, but later on went in front and did a solo. JIMIN also competed, excelling in popping, & isolation moves, winning every competition. JIMIN also since a little boy, trained 8 yrs in various forms of martial arts: Taekwondo (blackbelt), Hapkido, Kendo, & Chinese martial arts. Side Note: When learning Taekwondo, as a little boy, I believe Jimin said that doing the splits was one of the first things required to be able to do. He said that he'd put his legs split, up against the wall for quite long, hrs at a time. This was aside from still attending middle school Jimin, where he was already into all kinds of sports, including being part of soccer team,, but also basketball, even joined after school billiards, also excelling in track & field throughout his schooling. Then, while going to Busan Highschool of the Arts, he then also studied & performed contemporary. Media even called Jimin “The rising star of Busan” after seeing Jimin perform on stage during a huge festival. JIMIN also studied, some ballet as well as even traditional Korean dance. But Jimin’s main love was always hip hop. Though he did enjoy dancing contemporary, which Jimin indeed excels at, to this day all his dance movements, have his exquisite body placement, amazing elegant, poised, clean lines, as well as he also always stands, even without dancing, with out-turned feet, his foot positions always end up while dancing in classical out turned foot position, placement that classically trained dancers have. Jimin found he could express himself even more through contemporary dance. Very few dancers have the ability to dance as many styles of dance as well as have the ability to incorporate all of them, even his gravity defying, martial arts, moves in his dance. There’s a reason Jimin was not only give the official title of Main Dancer & Lead Vocalist, but has been awarded the prestigious titles for 5 yrs In a row, Best Dancer in Kpop, as well as 5 yrs King of Kpop. Jimin is called Stage Commander for a reason, his stage presence is on another level. Jimin is also called “Rookies Bible” because all rookies look up to him, watching his erformances. over & over, trying to emulate, & learn from his unmatchable, flawless, precise moves. So many trainees & rookies choose his songs to try to copy when competing, though even without singing, but just focusing on dance, always still fail to even come close.

Outro: Tear was a song about when BTS was discussing disbanding in 2018 because they were so mentally and physically exhausted. The rib tattoo you seen says NEVERMIND and its real. and the moon tattoo at the end is real aswell. he also has ‘young’ and ‘forever’ above his elbows on the back of his left and right arm. he has youth behind his ear, 13 on his wrist and the 7 on his finger (all bts members have a 7 tattoo) But all those other tattoos on his chest aren’t real. its a poem in another language

I finally made my way through all your bts reactions and am caught up! Woah, that was a lot. Thank you being so genuinely interested and insightful in your reactions, I love hearing your thoughts on their work! I love Jimin so much, he did an incredible job with FACE. He said FACE has the meaning of “facing himself” after having struggled during the pandemic (including losing several friends and drinking too much). Like Crazy is about getting lost in alcohol due to dealing with isolation and also exploring the duality of his feminine and masculine sides (in my view) and Set me free is about being true to himself, fighting to get to the other side of the struggle and looking forward (again in my view). I love that he showcased the full choreo in this mv, he truly is one of the best dancers I know. One day, you should watch his dance cover of Stuck with you, it’s only a couple of minutes long but honestly hypnotising. PS: Set me free is an Agust D song from 2020, the two songs aren’t related but Jimin also wanted to use that title so he decided to call it “Part 2” :)

Have you heard the news? Jimin is dropping a new song Thursday night at midnight EST. It's a song for ARMY that was set up before he enlisted Also, the Face album has a hidden track on it. You won't find it on Spotify, but you can find the audio here on KZbin. It's called "Letter". There's also a live performance of it that he did for this year's Festa. Festa is the anniversary of the day BTS debuted, if you didn't know. It's a celebration that covers most of the first two weeks of June, since their anniversary is June 13th.

In June 2022 BTS now announced a group hiatus to concentrate on solo career projects. Set Me Free was Jimin's first song and music video for his debut solo album. like crazy was the second song and music video off the EP with 6? songs on it plus a hidden track of the gift to army fans. However, you should also know this Jimin like all the other members of BTS. has solo songs on all BTS albums plus solo songs done exclusively for movies and TV shows in Korea! New material I thought you said however no more new material from any BTS members until June 2024 when Jin will be the first member discharged from the Korean military. RM, V, Jimin, Jungkook all 4 enlisted in the South Korean military about a week ago. where have you been videos of it are all over KZbin!

Recommendations for other artists- DPR Ian. He’s Korean Australian singer - his debut song as an independent artist is “So Beautiful”. He is very open about having bipolar disorder and DID. This real life struggle is heavily represented in his music- but in a beautiful and creative way. He edits most of his own MV’s of not all-he has a creative team that works with him. His production company is Dream Perfect Regime- a collective of artists including rappers and singers. 😊
