Updated Jimin info that some aren't aware of: ❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!! Hello guys, indeed the auto tune was used to create an effect but not to improve his voice. Jimin's voice is so beautiful that it needs no enhancement. The poem by German poet Rainer Maria Rilke, "Ich lebe mein leben in wachsenden ringen" = I live my life in ever-widening circles... The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, which aside from the two main choreographers, he had a hand in, offering suggestions, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production, even the set design of the MV. Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this made me that much more excited, for the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” released last yr on March 24, along with his main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Jimin’s other songs “Face-Off”, “Alone”, as well as hidden track “Letter” are all equally amazing! Thank you! This went straight to #30 in Billboard Hot 100 without any radio and playlisting. And was #1 on KZbin music trends for a week until his title track Like Crazy took over. (Like Crazy topped Billboard Hot 100 with no radio and playlisting and became the first Korean soloist with Korean song to do so and second Asian after 60 years in Billboard history). It was on top for many months in Spotify Gaming playlist. It was immediately used in sports events inc Canadian hockey. Reactors thought it should be on Super Bowl. The horns and band are real musicians BTW. Anyways its a performance art in a single stage designed like panopticon, an all seeing circular prison originated from British philosopher Jeremy Bentham. Jimin wears same colour clothes as dancers which is amazing. Jimin also helped with choreography along with in house choreographers and bit of consultation with Sienna from The Lab who did ON.

This song showcased the full range of his voice in the lower, mid and high register, add libbing and rapping. The auto tune is aesthetic, to enhance and add interest to the sound of the MV. JImin is a counter tenor who can hit A5 and F5 notes. The moon tattoos along the spine are of the 7 different phases of the moon, without any stars, it also hold deep meaning, signifying the seven members of BTS together and their birthdays. The moon means a lot to Jimin and holds special memories for him of the moments he had with RM, also with, JK and V. The box in the background signifies the circular cells in an ancient Panopticon prison, which is monitored constantly by guards in a central tower. The color of the set relates to light and darkness.

There are too many songs with this title in K-pop one song released even released a Week before Jimin’s Pre-Release Track “SET ME FREE PT.2” which was The girl group TWICE’s Song.
