Nice. I'd hardly consider it so important that it needed to be transcribed perfectly. It seems more like something that can be copied "close" just with a couple of listens. And so much of what makes it bad ass is the attitude. But I'm glad you did it. Well done.

May I ask as to why is this considered the greatest solo? It doesn't seem hard (I'm no drummer but I've seen much harder things be done) and it's very short. I like it very much though!! But is it like techincally amazing?
@ether66 ай бұрын
that title is more of a joke, since people think this fill is quite bizarre. but it's bizarreness and spontaneousness is what makes it unique and fun to listen to.
@eatttheball6 ай бұрын
It isn't technically amazing, but it's referred to with such high regard probably because it's kind of weird and sloppy, but still really intense and pretty badass. The really loud triplet rolls and accents immediately melting away into the little fill he does before the solo ends is funny, in a good way (if you ask me)

Honestly, it doesn't seem like a big deal to me. I don't know why people say that he is "the best drum solo ever". I think there are drummers who do better things than this solo. I think what people like is how strange that drummer is.

The title is from another KZbin video. I strongly think that the person wrote it meant it sarcastically, but I believe that it is a really cool and musical solo. That is why I transcribed it. 🙂

Well played but... the vibe is all off. He's moving and grooving in the seat and you're sitting stiff as a board. He's putting his whole arm into those accents, the video is going "bam bam BAM" and you're going "tippy tippy tap" with nothing more than wrist motion... not trying to be unpleasant here, just saying that if you're gonna play along to a solo like that you prolly want to get into it a little more. Needless to say it's way better than I could do of course! Keep it up :)

It is time to get right with Jesus. You aren’t going to automatically enter into heaven if you have lied or stolen or had premarital sex. Even one of those makes you worthy of hell fire. Don’t deceive yourself! The punishment of sin is hell fire. Jesus died so you can get a clean slate and forgiveness of a future sin when we confess it. When you start to follow him you have to strive to obey what he commands. No one will enter heaven without the blood of Jesus over you. No other way but through Jesus.

Without Jesus and holiness no man will see God. No Muslim is holy No Buddhist is holy No religion leads to true holiness. It is only found in a relationship with Jesus Christ! You don’t have religion with your parents do you? Neither do I with my God. He’s real and wants to know you! He will send you to hell if you continue to be a child of the devil. How do you know you are a child of Satan? You commit sin! The bible says he who sins is of the devil! 1 John 3:8-9 KJV [8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. [9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Cry out to God in humility and watch him change your life. Start to obey Jesus and follow him!!
