Engine: 1.8 8v GTI engine, full stainless exhaust (4-1), Newman 268 Cam. (approx 130bhp)
Brakes: 280mm grooved Corrado front disc, Larger M/C, Braided lines, ATE type 200 fluid (superblue) EBC Yellow Stuff front pads, Tarox Strada rear pads, with standard discs
Weight: Approx 950-980kg

Great video James, shame the gearbox let go! I'm sure it's done a good job though over the years. Look forward to seeing the car all fixed and back out there soon!

Thanks mate! Yep already rebuilt another box and got that in the car! Hopefully ready for the Nurburgring in 2 weeks! Yikes!

Thats the thing… it didnt 🤣 my original 020 got stuck in 3rd at the Nurburgring, had to change that on a driveway over there for a diesel box… ive then had 2 boxes since, but this one has lasted the longest! I will eventually go 02a, but i didnt have time to source all the bits this time (over in Germany again in a couple of week) so ive just put another 020 in for now and im taking a spare with me! 🤩

@@Jims_racing lol ok I see. the good old . 020 AKA "a box of chocolates" 🤣, heard some race mk2's running 75W140 gear oil. Haven't tried it myself.

@@Jims_racing hehe, 2 months ago my 020 ACD went with a bang, the 16V ABF proved too much. Buy another one and check 020broke how to remove the rivets and install bolt kit ! Goodluck ✌️

@@rubendias1008 It's esentially a milltek classic stainless system with 1 silencer removed, still had the mid silencer and back box :)
