Idk hopefully they begin to adjust the offensive rules against playing just for fouls. Shai is a insanely talented player but I dislike his game. I get selling a foul but he gets the softest foul calls on demand every game. He just throws his head back and throws the ball up. That’s boring basketball. I do still agree that okc will be one of the few faces of the west within the next 3 years or so. They’re still so young so I wouldn’t exactly depend on them at this moment but they definitely have the talent and athleticism. I do expect the nba to fix the way the game is officiated tho cause if you notice since the all star break, its beginning to be officiated like the playoffs. Tough scrappy ball. That’s good for the league and actually competitive. They loose viewers and money when people see this officiating and dislike it. And they way that the pelicans have been officiated, (specifically zion) is weird. Zion doesn’t get many foul calls, Ingram doesn’t get many calls. And then on the other side of the floor the pels get a reach or shooting foul that the other team should’ve got aswell. Rewatch the entire magic vs pels game. It happened the whole game. And then one of the two charges zion got should’ve been a shooting foul cause the dudes foot was in the restricted area plus he wasn’t even square to zion

yes a one game sample size is known for its reliability compared to an entire season and seasons past when considering talent. i'm a big fan of the magic but they're a young team that isn't quite ready to compete without a real PG, while NOLA has a well balanced roster that is only maybe lacking a rim protector
