🔥Nothing but fire🔥. Back then I always said that one day Maurice Greene would be the G.O.A.T. I truly miss track and field before the age of steroids.

You do realize steroids have been around in sports since the 1940s at least? Mo Greene was no different than Gatlin, Johnson, Montgomery and countless others. He went from being a nobody in 1996 to become world champion and almost equaling the World Record in less than a year lol

Tim Montgomery was a true athlete in High school (Gaffney High School , SC) and college (Norfolk State University, VA). Hate he got caught up with the BALCO case. He never needed to use steroids at all, but I guess wrong influences lead him down that path...

Belive it or not he was picked by BALCO for not being that good. They wanted to prove that even average sprinters can make wast improvements by correct vitamin S protocol and training.

All cheats NEED to cheat otherwise they know they can't win!

obviously he needed steroids a lot more than you think since he was very small and not that powerful. What guys run in HS has zero meaning to what they need to run as pro athletes. If you can't run 4 races in the Olympics and run sub 10 seconds at least 2 times to even qualify for the final then you have zero chance of even winning the bronze medal

I like the fact that Maurice Greene was not show boat'n at a young age. What brought on the face show later on in his athletic career?

He became the 'man'. He earned the right to showboat!

@@lerebele1 It is wise to show that you are the best rather than to show boat your are the best. To stay humble is key in any success.

@@tayj1313 true words.but i think the brashness was always in him really. He just probably did not want to show it while losing.
