If I had his kind of money i would not like people to know and if someone announced my worth in an interview i would shut them down and walk out of there.

if you haven't seen it, how do you know its "NICE?" more evidence of the aesthetic sensibilities of the Jimmy Buffet cult.

Let's hear your music John, I'm curious to hear your talent. Are you a music critic? In order to even have any validity in your opinions on an artists music, you would have to be able to show your credentials(experience).

I’m not hating on the guy. He’s mega successful, done well. I just don’t get. How did this guy ever become popular and famous to begin with? I mean, he is just one of those people who could somehow make money selling sand in the Sahara

I feel sorry that you would take the time to express your negative view of another human who has been successful due to his love of music and hard work. People love his music because it offers an escape from the reality they choose to leave when they hear his music. Music is an art form, it's meant to be subjective.

I've been wondering the same thing for decades? I guess "Margaritaville" really hit the collective (UN-conscious) of a huge swath of American morons, imbeciles, idiots, run of the mill Ned Flanders types. I'm baffled, too?

Wow, you've been an a-hole for decades??? You're not baffled. You're brainless, and what is wrong with the internet.

If you took the time to listen to the poetry, you might understand. He had his own genre. Not pop, not rock, not country. He is an amazing talent....do you say the same for all of the copy-cat rap artists?
