Sorry no one actually cares about hockey besides a small minority of affluent white people. NBA has 3x the American TV revenue of the NHL and the average NBA franchise is worth 2x what an NHL franchise is worth. Having lived in Denver I can tell you they are happy to have the Avalanche as a winning team but when the 2007 Rockies made the world series and got swept 0-4 the city was buzzing to finally have some success (despite the sweep) in another major sports league (not hockey) that people care about nationally. Denver is full of transplants from California, Texas, and the east coast, none of whom care about hockey.

To me if jimmy wins this championship it would be the most meaningful ring a player has won , debatable against LeBrons 2016 ring or dirks 2011 ring. For the team jimmy is leading and where Miami heats franchise was when he he joined them , just deserves so much credit. I know Kawaii also had a huge ring In Toronto but that team was really good and the warriors got injured that finals. The Dallas maverick’s run was incredible for dirk, and Cleveland’s comeback which couldnt as a city ever win a championship over the greatest regular season team for LeBron to me is the two most impressive rings for a player . If you were to compare them two teams side-by-side in the tangible stats categories; denver would be rated a 9 in most metrics to the heat's 7, across the board, on average. but when it comes to EVERYTHING THAT'S INTANGIBLE---- fighting spirit, heart, franchise history and experience, coaching, culture, etc ---- miami has an off-the-chart 20 to denver's 9.

Chris Bosh is not close to Jimmy Butler. Bosh first 7 years as best player missed playoffs 5/7x and was 3-8 in first round games (while being inefficient). Had ZERO in Game 7 of 2013 NBA Finals, was out most of 1 series Vs my Pacers yet Heat still won. He was very good but his playoff heights not close to Jimmy Buckets.

I live in New Orleans. The first NBA game I went to as a kid was a Hornets game with Chris Paul. That era got me into NBA Basketball. I love Chris Paul.
