Love the show. I usually listen as a podcast on my phone. It would be really awesome if you guys could figure out how to take a graceful break during the show. I often find the ads play while you're in the middle of a sentence which disrupts the show. Less than an ideal listening experience. (And if Keith could get a mic like Trevor's that'd be dynamite.). Appreciate your daily content!

If the suns want Jimmy that much, I would take that Beal/Jimmy trade, as long as the suns add their 2031 pick completely unprotected. To me that’s the cost of taking Beal for Butler

Ya, I was wondering the same thing about how much leverage he has for free agency with only the Nets and Wizards. Him being an ass to any team he goes to seems to be the only leverage he has. He doesn't seem worth the trouble.

Butler is coming up on age 36. In 15 seasons, he’s only scored 1,400 points in a season twice. Anyone who pays him can expect 24 games missed and aging is reflecting in his current numbers. For comp Zach Lavine is 29 and will go over 1,400 for the fifth time….Dame Lillard is 34 and about to go over the mark for the 12th time. Aaron Rodgers in shorts…buyer beware…

I like the rules for long term , tens can’t just go buy a ring , now you need to have a good front office , scout and coach /devlooment . Bottom line OKC has shown what a foot GM and front office can do . I’m a laker guy , our owner and GM is trash , I wish we would clean house and sel the team

You must like the Lakers warriors or some big market team. For the 80% of fans that aren’t in big markets, this is great for them. We get to compete without the big markets just buying titles like the warriors. Parity is always good. NBA ratings are fine, people are watching online

@blablablaa14 the ratings are trending down. Piracy sites are not new and wouldn't disproportionately affect the NBA like this. Difficulty in legally watching NBA games is something I would point to, I do think parity makes the league less interesting than having a smaller set of dominant players though

I could see OKC sending Kenrich and Utah/Miami 25 for Portis and Bucks 2031 1st. Gets Bucks out of the 2nd Apron and able to make the Butler trade, plus the Miami 1st. Then send those picks plus Middleton/Connaughton/Kenrich to Miami for Butler. It's a legit possibility if it's the Bucks, haha. Edit: Upon closer inspection, I think Middleton's Incentives prevent this, because that adds like $2.5m Apron salary than I thought. So Kenrich/Portis swap is just shy of getting the Bucks out of the 2nd Apron by like $400k.

@@hestilllives192 LMAO helllll no. Kenrich is a huge part of their small ball lineup that is an absolute force, he is the heart of the locker room and on an incredible contract for multiple yrs. Portis is long been declining, on a contract with nothing positive n length nor value, does nothing OKC wants nor needs, and would NEVER get a first back in this deal lol and that MIA 2025 that turns into an unprotected MIA 2026 is THE BEST traded pick on the market. MIL would have to just give firs tto get off of Portis's money since they are a 2nd apron team and cant do anything at all, plus OKC would be taking back almost double the damn money lol. THis trade is a joke and youre trying to act like the best rrader in the league would do it to just save MIL and screw themselves haha??

4 team trade - These 3 trades work on spotrac - Just looking at the $$ - not sure what the LAC players are worth, importance to fanbase etc. Mia - Bruce B, P.J. Tucker, Bones Hyland, Derrick Jones Jr. Tor - T.Mann, K.Dunn, N.Batum LAC - Beal PHX - Butler Picks in any of these trades no idea. If Beal is fine with the Clippers and playing with Harden - Zubac (and Kawhi once a year.) N.Powell? but i doubt the LAC would want Beal either. N.Powell one is - 4 team Mia - N. THat is still a missive overpay ofc hed do that in the end lol. THat is awful. Hes already well into declining and this runs into his age THIRTY EIGHT season. Hes been awful on defense nd meh from 3 since January of 2024 at the earliest. He is nowhere near worth that and only massivley declining as he gets truly OLD. he is not an has never been STeoh, KD< or Lebron, as far as talent, how they play and what they do will age, and how theyve taken care of their bodies the last 20yrs

@@grapeape1965 you r looking at it from the back end. Keep in mind Butler has a player Option for $52M next yr(1 yr). He would be taking a pay cut to $33M (while making $50M more w/the xtra yrs)& some team with a 2 yr window would sign him. I never said Jimmy was any of THOSE guys(Bron,Step,KD), but he DRUG a terrible roster to the ECFs 3x, & the Finals twice in the past 4 yrs - while beating the Fav Cs & Bucks. He is a DOGG in the postseason & the #1 trade target for a lot of contenders he could help get over the hump. Garland, Maxey, Ingram, LaMelo & Porter Jr are all making mid $30Ms... Jimmy is better than all those players

Teams have TO WANT THE PLAYERS YOU HAVE. Tyler and Duncan were two of the worst contracts in the league. The REAL answer is that this was never a jimmy bam core it was just jimmy. Bam was the only one that you can actually trade to improve the build and extend its shelf life.

Miami and LA are top 5 in total spending over the last 20 years with Miami's highest year last year and LA's the year before. You have unrealistic expectations.
