LET THE NEW KIDS PLAY!!! Butler is tanking his next contract. Not only are his age and injury history issues, but he's shown once again just how petulant he can be. Until this season, I'd always thought Butler was the second coming of UD. Now, I think Miami's best option is to NOT trade him and let him walk or else he signs his UFA. If he signs, he'll have to ball out in order to prove his value to other teams. If he doesn't, then we can fine him and he continues to lose value, further tanking his own career. Miami's not winning the East! Let's experiment more with rotations, let Ware, Jovic, Jaquez and Christopher get more minutes alongside Bam, Herro and Robinson.

This is a meh take. I understand wanting the Heat to win but why is everyone getting on their knees for Jimmy. He should be expected to do his job and the benefits he received before this debacle (i.e. taking his own flights) should be off the table now. Further, the Heat can’t rush into this trade so how are we gonna expect them to just let Jimmy have his cake and eat it too. Jimmy is a diva.
