Jimmy's not from this world! I mean the guy is an absolute beast! The level of technic and accuracy, time keeping is just so unique. An absolute legend and for sure one of the best drummers of all time, seriously, criminally underrated!

Lol...bro as a drummer is just average! He plays the same kind chops on all the songs. Boring af!

Crazy that this video didn't surface until earlier this year. I'm so glad Jimmy did this solo project. Got to see the band at DC 9 in, wait for it... DC. Definitely one of the best shows I've ever experienced. He was a good dude too... very gracious with his time.

ITS SUCKS jimmy is never put in the camp of G.O.A.T. because he was revolutionary for the 90s. Grohl had some chops,matt Cameron is good but chamberlin is on a TOTALLY different hemisphere.
@bdl25463 жыл бұрын
Agree completely Jimmy Chamberlain smokes grohl and Cameron but there more revered for some reason
@jaimeflor41812 жыл бұрын
I agree as well. During that time period, my favorites were JC and Danny Carey. I like what Matt did with “My Wave,” especially the 5:4 time signature. When it come to jazz chops, fast intricate fills, double stroke rolls with accents, JC is on a whole other level. Definitely underrated and probably due to him staying simple on radio hits. His most impressive beats and fills, are usually on non-radio songs.

He is my favorite drummer. Reason being is because, besides Rush, I cannot think of any other band that the drumming is as much part of a band’s sound. That band being Smashing Pumpkins offcourse.
@bren18862 жыл бұрын
Only 90's drumming that comes close for me is the drumming on PJ Harvey's album 'rid of me'. I forget his name. ....oh, and also Dale Crover. Then Chamberlain for me, in that order.
