Jimmy has influenced other drummers in the rock world. You can tell he is a jazz drummer because most of them don’t use the double pedal. When they play with a single one it sounds like they are using a double pedal🔥
@brianjennings75128 жыл бұрын
Imo, the smashing pumpkins are always at their prime with Jimmy. It doesn't matter if they're playing Siamese Dream or Zeitgest. If Billy is singing with this monster behind the drums, they're at their prime. In one poll, the Rolling Stones magazine actually rated him the #59th best drummer of all time, which is incredible considering they're the most horribly biased music magazine there is.
@TheTechAndScience6 жыл бұрын
The Rolling Stone wouldn’t know drumming if it bit them in the ass

All of the above but mainly fingers hands wrists. You want to move with a swiftness over the drums. Not hit them too hard. But find the right octave of the note and train your body to memorize that motion over and over and over and over again .........

@spguitar Yeah I admit the kids gotten better... better at playing JIMMYS parts. On the new songs the drumming sounds generic and uninspired...
