I listened to this as a teenager, dreaming about being 23. I listened to it as a 23-year-old, excited and anxious about adulthood. I listen to it still, at 31, nostalgic for that life at 23. And I will listen to it for a long time to come.

Here I am. With tears I my eyes. I’ll be 40 soon. Remembering the times when times were more carefree. I feel both sad and happy listening to this song. Been listening to jimmy for a long time but I must have forgotten about them. Reconnected again yesterday and won’t forget again

Futures is such a ridiculously good album. I don't even understand where it came from, had to have been the Good Lord. When Jim plays that solo at the end! I play guitar and there are solos where I feel like my hands and fingers are literally speaking in an unknown perfect language, like my soul is moving and streaming out into the air for people to listen and relate to what I might be saying. I felt (watching this) like thats what Jim A> was experiencing.

No one else will know these lonely dreams, no one else will know that part of me. I'm still driving away, and I'm sorry everyday...I won't always love these selfish things. I won't always live not stopping. Seriously deep

This song was released when I was 18 a few days after my birthday, now I just turned 38 and still listening to this, brings so much memories. What's sad about this song is that it has an ending.

Amazing performance. I should have seen Jimmy Eat World live for the first time this June. I can't even begin to explain how much I love this song and how much it means to me. They have rescheduled the EU tour so I can only hope I'll see them next year and I sincerely hope they will play this song. And yes, FUTURES is a badass album.

Wow, Jim is pouring out his soul and letting it all out while the whole room seams dead. This song is an unassuming masterpiece, with an amazing build up, such wisdom, vulnerability, and acceptance all being poetically captured in hypnotic wave that climaxes with a feeling of hope and gratitude. And i just found this song a week ago while kind of enjoying JEW forever but never really digging in until now.

Questa è musica che viene dal cuore, originale e ispirata e non le cazzate dei sinistroidi ska, raghae ,hip hop.Solo Rock e Metal sono i generi più romantici, carichi ed espressivi che esistano.

No, watch the other songs they play- even Sweetness and A Praise Chorus - total zombie mode. This crowd was the worst. It’s painful because they were awesome

No, he is right. I've seen Jimmy Eat World at hammerstein ballroom...that audience was crazy jumping and really getting into it. This audience is different. Something is off.
