Where's the 11th round? Jerry rocked Ellis in the 11th, but couldn't finish him off because he had a back injury going into the fight - was injured in a fight at the "Neutral Corner", his dads bar.

fair jerry had been hurt a back injury that showed changed his n ormal boxing and counterpunching skills but he did lose this close fight. jimmy was a very smart boxer two of the top 5 fighters at that time

Quarry got a little too wild and couldnt finish Ellis off. Ellis fought pretty well in this fight, but did not deserve to be in it (which was the last fight in the WBA tournament to find successor to ali)----he was soundly beaten by Floyd patterson, but somehow was given decision by the ref, who was the only judge
