I lost my mom 3 years ago & I feel empty without her! I miss her every single day. I miss our laughs, her beautiful smile, sense of humor.. her strong personality etc.. embrace and cherish your mom with every moment you have with her because, like mine; docs said she was doing fine, she will be out of ICU/hospital in 2-3 days. Every funny man starts with trying to make their mother laugh. To lose their best audience, and biggest fan, is the greatest tragedy of all. Doesn't matter at all if Jimmy Fallon was famous or not. That pain is soul crushing, honestly amazing he came back to work after a week. Jimmy seems to be a decent guy, and I truly wish him luck, love, and the good thoughts that his mom got to see his success and experience it with her son. We all have to pass from this world, but I know she left knowing her son's success and knowing his wife, and her grandchildren. Rest in Peace Mrs. Fallon, you raised a good boy, who makes so many people laugh, and makes so many people happy.

2014 a week before Christmas, 2 days before my birthday, my mom was dying, she looked at me with a tear in her eye, I went closer to dry her tear and she took her last breath. hit me right in the feels with this comment. I remember going with my mom to cash her check and it was like 380 dollars. This was around 1991 and she bought me and my 2 sisters lunch boxes and filled them with snacks and on our way home she stopped by Kmart to pay off our school clothes that were on lay-a-way and I'll never forget this moment until the day I die but I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and my poor mom was in the kitchen eating a mayonaise and soy sauce sandwich and I was so confused what the heck she was doing and I said something kind of mean like "what kind of weirdo eats a mayo sandwich" and she started crying and I felt bad so I went to go in the fridge and grab her a hostess pie from my lunch pale and thats when I realized the only thing in the fridge was a jar of mayo and soy sauce. She spent every penny that day on us . omg I can't even type this cuz i'm crying so hard. She didn't even save herself 1 dollar. When we had no food she would send us to my dads to eat and she would stay home and go to bed hungry. I hate myself for not being more aware of what was going on and I can't believe how much she sacrificed for us. I love that lady to death

Jimmy is the most sensitive comedian I know and THAT is why I love him so much because he is as real as you and me. When he laughs, it means he is really happy and when he cries, it means he is really broken. I know how you feel, I lost my dad 5 years ago and not a day goes by that I don’t cry for him. i’m so sorry jimmy. i was never very close to my grandmother. last year, around 10 pm on my birthday, my sister got a call from my uncle. he told her that grandma passed away. she had stage 4 brain and lung cancer. my sister came into my room to tell me. i spent days after i heard the news crying and even went to the guidance counselor at my school. a year later now, i feel closer to her than ever. on my birthday this year, i spent the day with my sister. as we celebrated my birthday and i blew out my candles, i wished for her to come back. i miss her more and more because i wish i was closer with her when she was alive.

We used to do the same with our mam. I was at work got a phone call explaining I had to get to the hospital now. I went for my sister and made our way to the hospital. Once there I knew it wasn't going to be long. My sister went to one side of the bed and I on the other. She held her hands out for us, squeezed them 3 times and let go. We were ushered to the family room and literally minutes later the nurse came to say she was gone. I like to think she was waiting for us to tell us she loved us for the last time. Watching this broke my heart X
